Season 4: the making-of

Here we are! It’s time to talk about the making of season 4!

First things first, one thing you need to know is that we only had one month to create season 4 because, long story short, we are all very busy with our master’s degree and we had several projects to manage at the same time. The creation was intense but fun! To begin the season 4 project, we had discussions in class to define our roles and to plan the episodes. Indeed, a podcast seems very simple to do, but it needs quite a good organisation and retroplanning to prepare it in time! 

Then, each of us worked on the episode we chose to write. We wrote, tested and corrected all the episodes in only two weeks! Meanwhile, Fantine and Isabelle worked on the logo and the posters of season 4, which will be the theme of another article. You wouldn’t think that I would give you all the information now, would you? 

We recorded the episodes at the KAP, in the room dedicated to the recording of podcasts and radio shows. It was quite strange to hear our voices so clearly in the headphones and to have such good quality microphones! We had the impression to be hosts and guests of a show, therefore we were a bit shy at the beginning, but not for long, as you can see on this picture:

Fantine also worked on the communication part of the project. She tried to contact several newspapers for them to make press articles on our podcast, and she contacted several potential places for our launching event. However, it was Lilou who succeeded and found the place for the event, the Crous Dolet! Estelle edited the episodes, and I, Camille, worked on this blog :) 

We had fun creating season 4, which was for most of us the first time we recorded a podcast! We hope you will enjoy the episodes!
